Vanmorgen voor het eerst gaan clickeren in het park met Katja ! Veel mensen die ik ken, sites op YouTube, zelf al maanden een clicker in huis....en altijd "te druk" om er zelf mee te beginnen. En het resultaat; wat jammer dat ik niet eerder ben begonnen !!!! Ben niet zo'n geduldig typje, dus na 3x klikken en een koekje geven ben ik begonnen met oefenen ;-) Truukjes leren is leuk, maar voor later ,dus direct aan de slag met oefeningen die Katja nog slordig doet; "naast "en distance control !! Ik liet haar op afstand zitten en riep haar naast. Scheef zitten natuurlijk...geen klik geen koekje. Nou kan ik het commando 10x herhalen of afwachten, maar dan gaat ze liggen , rondlopen en stressen. Dus, terug op haar plek gezet en opnieuw roepen. Direct recht naast !! Klik koekje. Toeval ? Nog een keer......direct recht naast !!! (hoe lang train ik dit al met die hond !). Distance control; af gaat ze meteen (de laatste tijd gaat dat ook niet meer zo vlot...), maar weer zitten... Om een lang verhaal kort te maken, ze gaat nu vanuit af op kommando zitten terwijl ik op enige afstand sta WOW !! Grappig , op weg naar huis bleef ze de hele tijd naar de hand kijken waar ik de clicker had, niet naar de hand waar de koekjes vandaan kwamen :-) This morning I started clickertraining in the park with Katja ! I know a lot of people who use the clicker, watch sites on YouTube, having a clicker in the house.. I'm always "too busy" to start with it. The result; what a pitty I didn't start earlier !!! I'm not the patience type, so after 3 clicks giving a cookie I started practising. Learning tricks is nice, but for later, so I started with things Katja is not doing correctly; "side"and distance control !! I let her sit at a distance and call her. She did not sit straight beside me... no click no cookie. I can repeat the command 10 times or wait , but then she will go down, walk around and getting stressed. So, back to her place and called again. Straight beside me right away !! Click cookie. Coinsedance ? Again....same wonderful result !! ( how long am I training this with this dog !) Distance control; Katja goes down right away (althoug not easy lately...) but sit again from a down....To make a long story short , she's going from a down into a sit on command while I am standing at a distance WOW !! Funny, on our way home she kept looking at the hand the clicker was, not the hand were the cookies came from :-)
